Pay Rent and Fund Travel
Happy New Year's everyone! Happy we made it to 2023. Between the turmoil of tech and the market, war between Ukraine and Russia, inflation and rate increases, there appeared to be plenty be excited about even if they hardly impacted you day-to-day life., at least to the point that the percentage of mindspace it took up was warranted - it wasn't (with exception being a layoff, some real involvement of the war, or other real things damaging your wellbeing).
Anyhow, I wanted to take a moment to say that 2022 was wonderful for me, particularly personally. I had the chance to plan a wedding, get engaged and wed my beautiful wife, all while we threw in turmoil of a new job on my side and 2 businesses on hers. Fun challenges, exquisite food and travel, and plenty of memories allowed us to ride a calm wave into 2023.
But, I did not want to take the time to say that if you're a fan of traveling, whether flights, cars or hotels, and you rent your place of living, you should combine them with the Bilt Rewards Mastercard. Why? Well, since Chase and others decided to change their Venmo/Zelle/CashApp/others policy to cash advances if they deem it as rent, those will no longer give you the points on standard point-earning credit cards. So, the solution that I've found and have, is to get a Bilt Mastercard - allowing 1x points on Rent (not much, but better than 0)! There are bonuses like 2x on points spent in the travel portal, 3x on dining, a whopping 5x at random times (first week of my receiving the card was all purchases got 5x), either rent day or around rent day has 2x point bonuses. Then there's the fact that you can transfer to plenty of partners, combining with other points programs to fly/stay to your heart's content, all without changing your spend.
Oh, and another nice thing? You'll have a credit limit and even if you don't have the availability for a rent payment, you still can pay and it'll pull from your otherwise normal bank funds (or send a check if that's how you do your payments) like normal. The flexibility is key! Great way to get credit when you're younger, build a history, and earn points for doing what you normally have to do month to month anyhow.
So, if you want to check it out and start earning for rent, please do so here: <a href="https://bilt.page/r/JV0I-28U6" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Link to Bilt Rewards</a>
